CONTINUING EDUCATION

SAM Sling Training
The EHSF will be providing SAM Sling training during the September meeting of the Lancaster County EMS Council. The SAM Sling is used to stabilize pelvic fractures and is being supplied by the EHSF to EMS organizations, 1 per response vehicle, ALS or BLS. Class will be held on September 20th, 2007 as part of the regular Council Meeting. Meetings are held at the Lancaster County Public Safety Training Center beginning at 18:00 hours. Training is required prior to receipt of SAM Slings. Con-Ed will be awarded.
