EMS TASK FORCE 36

Three Lancaster County EMS Organizations currently form EMS Task Force 36. This Task Force, part of a Regional initiative, was developed after the events of 9/11 to provide response capabilities to regional, state and national disasters. In September of 2005, EMS Task Force 36 deployed to New Orleans for 11 days, as part of Pennsylvania Strike Team 1, to assist in the rescue efforts related to hurricane Katrina.
